A second chance to finish what family pressure cut short.
Through our interviews with them, we learned that each of these garment workers from the provinces has dreams and a sense of purpose. However, due to family pressure and a lack of motivation or direction, many give up on their studies.
It's not easy — they must balance earning money for their families while continuing their education. It takes perseverance and determination to overcome these challenges.
This program gives them the opportunity to continue their studies through classes, high-school catch-up courses, and university programs — so they can receive a solid education, break the cycle of illiteracy, and pass the value of learning on to the next generation.
